The CYBERTAKE S2 Pro uses a dual-hose venting heat system to transfer heat from the interior to the exterior. This process operates on the same principle as the S1 Pro.

• One hose, located at the top of the tail section, draws in outside air.
• This air flows through the condenser, where it absorbs heat.
• The heat is then expelled outside through another hose at the tail section.

This efficient system ensures effective cooling while maintaining optimal performance.

The S2 Pro features an upgraded Drain-Free Function, utilising a dense point-based (96+22) condensate irrigation system, which eliminates the need for manual drainage under normal conditions.

In high-humidity and high-temperature environments, a drain pipe can be connected to assist in faster drainage. Additionally, this system helps conserve energy, saving up to 40-50W of power consumption during operation.

In ECO+ mode, the power consumption is approximately 100W, allowing 1 kilowatt-hour of electricity to last up to 10 hours.

In MAX cooling mode, 1 kilowatt-hour lasts around 2 hours.
In MAX heating mode, 1 kilowatt-hour lasts about 1.5 hours.

Yes, you absolutely can! However, because our units are engineered with a high-efficiency 48V native architecture (to provide maximum cooling with minimum power draw), you have two main ways to connect it to your 12V setup:

Option 1: The "Direct DC" Method (Recommended for Off-Grid)

The most efficient way is to use our Smart 12V/24V to 48V DC Booster.

• How it works: It plugs directly into your 12V Lithium or AGM battery and "boosts" the voltage to 48V.
• The Benefit: This is roughly 20-25% more efficient than using an inverter. It avoids the "energy tax" of converting power back and forth, meaning your battery will last significantly longer through the night.

Option 2: The Inverter Method

You can plug the Cybertake’s standard AC power adapter into an Inverter (minimum 2000W recommended).

• How it works: The inverter turns your 12V battery power into 240V, and the Cybertake power brick handles the rest.
• The Benefit: It’s "Plug and Play" if you already have a large inverter built into your canopy or caravan.
• Downside is that plugging into a 240V inverter usually draws more power. You lose energy during the conversion from 12V DC (battery) → 240V AC (inverter) → and back down to 48V (to run the unit). Going direct-DC saves that "conversion tax."

How long will it last?

On a typical 100Ah Lithium battery, you can expect:

• Max Cooling Mode: ~2.5 to 3 hours of continuous high-power cooling.
• Eco Mode: ~ 6 to 8+ hours (perfect for a full night’s sleep once the initial cabin temperature has dropped).

Pro Tip: For the best performance, we recommend a 200Ah Lithium battery or larger if you plan to run the unit all night in high-humidity areas like Far North Queensland, or take a portable power station with you.

Our units aim to drop the temperature by 10-12°C from the ambient air. In a 40°C tent, the unit will likely bring the air down to a comfortable 28°C. This is a massive difference in "feel" and comfort!

Park in the shade, keep your hoses short/straight, and use reflective thermal covers on your tent or caravan windows.

Dedicated battery packs are typically designed to power a single device only, which limits flexibility. Instead, Cybertake focuses on compatibility with a wide range of power solutions so users can run multiple devices from one system, including fridges, lighting, and other essentials.
