When deciding between the S1 Pro and the S2 Pro, consider the following differences to choose the best option for your needs:

  • Cooling & Heating: The S2 Pro offers both cooling and heating, making it a versatile option for year-round comfort. The S1 Pro is strictly a cooling model.
  • Weight: The S1 Pro is lighter at 9.8kg, making it easier to carry and transport. The S2 Pro weighs 11.6kg due to its added features.
  • Price: The S1 Pro is more affordable, offering a budget-friendly option for cooling needs. The S2 Pro is priced higher but offers additional features like heating and more powerful performance.
  • Cooling Capacity: The S2 Pro has a higher cooling capacity of 5,100 BTU, ideal for larger or more demanding spaces. The S1 Pro offers 3,300 BTU, suitable for smaller areas.
  • App Function: The S2 Pro comes with app functionality, allowing you to control the device remotely for added convenience. The S1 Pro does not have this feature.
  • Choose the S2 Pro if you need both heating and cooling, have a larger area to cool, or prefer the convenience of app control. Opt for the S1 Pro if you're looking for a lightweight, affordable cooling solution for smaller spaces.

 

Scenario A: The Minimalist Explorer

  • Recommended Unit: Cybertake S1 Pro

  • Best For: Rooftop Tents (RTT), Swags, small 2-3 person ground tents, and micro-campers (up to 6-8m³).

  • Why: It’s our lightest unit (9.8kg). If you are lifting an AC onto a roof rack every night, every kilo counts. It provides punchy cooling for small volumes where space is at a premium.

Scenario B: The Family Camper & Weekend Warrior

  • Recommended Unit: Cybertake S2 Pro

  • Best For: Large 4-6 person tents, Teardrop trailers, Boats, and Pop-top campers (up to 10-12m³).

  • Why: With 5,100 BTU of cooling plus a heating function, the S2 Pro handles the larger air volume of a family setup.

  • Note for Pop-Tops: While the S2 Pro is powerful, remember that canvas has zero R-value (insulation). If your pop-top is up, your AC is fighting a constant battle against the heat. We highly recommend using a "Tropical Fly" or thermal insulation wrap around your canvas to keep that cool air inside.

Scenario C: Large Caravans (18ft+) & Hybrid Campers

  • Recommended Unit: S2 Pro (Targeted Cooling)

  • The Reality: An S2 Pro will not cool an entire 18ft caravan during a 40°C day. However, it is perfect as a "Night-Time Sleeper." Position it to blow directly onto the bed area to ensure a cool, dehumidified sleep without needing a loud, power-hungry rooftop unit or a generator.
